I've finished reading Conundra. What a delight! Also being a Roman Catholic, I could relate to many of the stories you wrote about in your book. I particularly liked your chapter on Priest's Celibacy.
You must have done a tremendous amount of research and I must say I was impressed with your intellect in expressing opinions on many of life's issues.

I enjoyed the book Conundra immensely. I am very close in age to the author and have a very similar background. My childhood and upbringing parallels his. So as I read this book I felt that he was in my head!!! The move from a faith based on fear to a faith based on the golden rule seems to be a logical path for me and to hear the author expressing so clearly how I feel was quite amazing.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to reconcile the religion they may have experienced in their childhood to a new way of expressing their faith. I also believe strongly that if our politicians guided their actions and policies by the golden rule, we would live in a much better world.
